Are there dark secrets hidden on this island?

When a wealthy lawyer is found murdered in her Sandbanks mansion, along with an unidentified companion, DCI Lesley Clarke finds herself plunged into a case with many suspects.

Was it the victim’s ex-husband, resentful at her new lifestyle? The housekeeper who found the bodies? Or could it have been a murder-suicide?

Lesley and her team must unravel the evidence, while also investigating the disappearance of local Sadie Dawes, who went missing after looking into the death of Lesley’s predecessor. It seems that this playground for the rich might be harbouring a mystery and maybe a killer.

An absolutely unputdownable crime thriller that will hook fans of Elly Griffiths and Ann Cleeves.
